LEVEL 1 – OPERATIONS CLARITY AUDIT
See how your music company really runs, and where it’s breaking.
A standalone review of your people, processes, and platform, with a clear roadmap for what to fix first. You can act on it alone, or bring us in to build it.

Blind spots cost more than the audit.
If you recognize two of these, the audit will show you what’s causing them and what to do first.
What we check
Five areas, each answered with specific evidence from your business.
What you get for $10,000
- Discovery call (60 minutes). A conversation about how your business runs day to day, your goals, and where things feel stuck.
- Full operations review & interviews. People, processes, platform, and change readiness, with the systems you already use included.
- Roadmap report. A prioritized list of what to fix, what to wait on, and what to leave alone, delivered within 6 to 8 weeks.
- Walkthrough (60 minutes). We go through the findings together so you know what they mean.
After the audit: your choice
Why music companies work with us
Most operations consultants start with the tool. We start with how your business actually runs, because the tool only works when the work does.
I’m a musician with more than 30 years in the business, and I coach independent artists. I’m also HubSpot certified and have been since 2013. I know how labels, managers, publishers, and licensors work, so you won’t need a tutorial.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the audit take?
Usually 6 to 8 weeks after the discovery call, plus a 60-minute walkthrough of the findings.
Do we need a CRM to do this?
No. The audit covers the systems and habits you have, whether that’s spreadsheets, a CRM, or both.
Do we have to hire Octave afterward?
No. The audit is yours to use on your own.
What access do you need?
Temporary, read-only access to the systems and documentation you use, which we review together on the discovery call. We will also want to identify key members of your team at all levels to conduct confidential interviews to help us inform our audit report.
